Cookies Policy

In compliance with the duty of information set forth in paragraph 2 of Article 22 of Law 34/2002, of July 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, this cookie policy is intended to inform you clearly and precisely about the cookies used on the website of LAFORJA SISTEMAS, S.L.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small file that websites send to the browser and are downloaded onto your computer. Cookies allow the website to store and retrieve information about your visit, such as your preferred language and other options, in order to improve the services offered and contribute to a better browsing experience for the user.

Types of cookies

There are many types of cookies, depending on their purpose and the time they remain stored in the user’s browser (some are only installed during the session and others can remain for years – persistent cookies). Based on these criteria, some cookies require user consent and others do not (exempt cookies).

Exempt cookies are those essential for the user’s computer and the web servers to communicate with each other and allow the user to browse faster, without collecting protected data.

Depending on who manages the domain from which the cookies are sent, they are distinguished as:

  • First-party cookies: managed by LAFORJA SISTEMAS, S.L.
  • Third-party cookies: managed by other domains.

According to their purpose, cookies are classified as:

  • Technical cookies: allow browsing and using the services offered, controlling traffic, identifying the session, accessing restricted areas, remembering orders, using security elements, or multimedia content.
  • Personalization cookies: allow access to the site with specific characteristics, such as language.
  • Security cookies: prevent or hinder attacks against the website.
  • Analytical cookies: allow measuring and analyzing the use of the site to improve the offer of products or services.
  • Advertising cookies: manage advertising spaces, frequency of access, content, and user profile.
  • Behavioral cookies: analyze browsing habits to show advertising according to the user’s profile.
  • Geolocation cookies: allow knowing the country where the user is located.

Acceptance of cookies

Law 34/2002 requires informing the user beforehand about the use, type, and purpose of cookies. Therefore, an information notice is displayed when accessing the platform, with three options: accept, configure, or reject cookies (except those necessary for browsing).

Authorization for the use of cookies

The user may expressly consent to the use of cookies that require it; technical or necessary cookies do not require consent. Browser settings can be modified to reject cookies.

You can restrict, block, or delete cookies using your browser. Each browser has a different procedure, available in its help menu:

By disabling cookies, some website functions may not work correctly.
