    How does your digital signage software work?

    IDSmedia is a 100% visual drag-and-drop platform that allows you to create professional content in seconds, in a simple, organised and fast way.

    It enables remote content management across a screen network with no endpoint limit, via our cloud-hosted digital signage platform.

    Is your IDSmedia software difficult to master?

    Not at all. Learning to use our content management software is very quick and straightforward.

    It is designed so that even people who are not used to working with this type of tool can create professional designs and manage their digital signage screen network with ease.

    That said, at LFJ we always offer our clients personalised training as well as user manuals. And for any additional questions, our technical support team is always on hand to help.

    So, will I be able to create the content myself?

    Absolutely. With the drag-and-drop system offered by our IDSMedia digital signage software, you can create professional content in seconds by adding text, images, videos or real-time data widgets, in a simple, organised and fast way.

    And will I receive any training to learn how to use it?

    Yes. Our clients always receive personalised training from our technical team at the start of their project deployment.

    Can content be scheduled by day of the week or specific dates?

    Yes. Our digital signage software allows content to be scheduled with a variety of calendar options:
    • By specific date ranges
    • For specific days of the week or exact dates
    • With detailed time control (time slots)

    Does the software have to be hosted on your server, or can it be hosted on my company's server?

    Our digital signage software can be hosted on our server (via an annual hosting fee), or on the client's own server (on-premises) at no additional cost. No commitments, no obligations.

    How do screens connect to the cloud-based software when sending and receiving content?

    The screens have a built-in Android content player that receives the signal, stores the information and plays content on the screens according to the schedules and timings set by the client.

    What are Android players or media players?

    An Android content player is a mini PC (a small box approximately 10–12 cm) that handles all the management and storage of information on each communication screen.

    These players can either come pre-integrated in the screens themselves (as is the case with the professional digital signage screens we supply), or they can be connected externally to screens via HDMI (for cases where, for example, the client already has TVs or screens they wish to use, or prefers to purchase them independently from another supplier).

    Is the software compatible with all types of screens? Can they be installed in portrait mode?

    Yes, our software is compatible with all types of screens (LCD, LED, video walls, totems, etc.), supporting both landscape and portrait orientations, as well as custom dimensions and resolutions.

    What type of content can be displayed on Digital Signage screens?

    It supports images and videos in most formats and resolutions, text, frames, web pages, as well as real-time data widgets (RSS and news feeds, date and time, weather forecast, automatic accident-free day counter...) and we also develop custom widgets for all kinds of functionality.

    Can specific utilities be developed for my company?

    If I already have screens and want to use them, will they be compatible with your digital signage software?

    Yes, in principle all modern screens have an HDMI input (required to connect the content player) and are generally compatible with our software. Contact us and we will confirm.

    How is the content displayed on screens controlled and delivered?

    Content is managed through a content management system (CMS), which allows it to be scheduled and distributed centrally. This system ensures content is played at the location, time and in the format requested by the client.

    Can I segment the content shown on different screens?

    Yes, the user decides what content to show on each screen, how and when.

    And when managing a large number of screens, these can be organised into groups (locations, cities, buildings, stores...), which also allows specific content to be published to those groups.

    How is published content updated?

    Our Digital Signage software makes content updates as simple as possible: just drag files to each screen (or to groups), remove what you no longer need (if applicable) and schedule distribution according to calendar and time slots.

    With just one click on 'Publish', changes will be reflected within seconds, ensuring screens are always up to date, quickly and effortlessly.

    Does IDSmedia also include pre-defined images or templates I can use?

    Indeed, our digital signage software includes a pack of basic templates to get you started if you prefer, as well as an online high-quality image search tool, accessible directly from the platform's editor.

    How can I make sure the content on the screens is being displayed as I want?

    The IDSmedia platform includes a real-time monitoring system that lets you see exactly what content is playing on each screen at any time.

    Do my screens need to be constantly connected to the internet?

    The system works without a permanent internet connection. A connection is only required to:
    1. Update content
    2. Monitor screen status
    Players store all schedules locally in their memory, ensuring uninterrupted content playback even offline, following the previously established schedule.

    Is there a maximum limit on the number of screens or players I can add?

    There is no limit. You can expand your digital signage network as much as you need, with no restrictions on the number of connected screens.
